Growing Procedures |

Due to the size of the greenhouses, a more constant growing environment is
maintained, ensuring high quality flower production is consistent. Our growers
are known for their consistent quality, and are established as the industry
leader in rose and flower production by implementing and utilizing modern
technologies. |

This images shows a small lily plant,
which is started in a coconut substrate (ground up coconut husk). The coconut
substrate acts as a large sponge, where the plants roots grow and absorb the
nutrients. Nutrients are delivered to the plant by way of a drip hose, which
feeds the plant from our fertilizer injector. The injector is controlled by
computer, which precisely feeds the plant an exact amount of water and
nutrients.

New rose plants take approximately 3 growing cycles before the plant will
produce the high quality flowers required to meet our standards. Once the rose
bush is producing at its best, it takes approximately 45 to 57 days to produce
each rose, depending on variety, time of year and especially, light conditions. |

| |
 |
|
In addition to extra lighting, we provide our roses with additional carbon
dioxide, increasing growth rates. By increasing the growth rate, we are able to
cut our roses twice a day, 365 days of the year, ensuring that we have a
constant supply of the freshest possible product. At point of cutting, it is
only 24 more hours until they are at the recipient's door. When you purchase
your roses direct from the grower, you are getting roses that will open
beautifully and last longer. |

Once cut, these roses are then sent to our grading area where they are sorted
by length and size. They are then inspected to ensure only the highest quality
flowers are shipped to our customers. |
